Minister Waszczykowski from MSZ met with many Polonia representatives in SPK on Sept 23rd, 2016. This was the first  Poland's Minister who met with Polonia in Vancouver.

 

Although the visit was just for over an hour, he took an opportunity to explain how Poland's current government sees the value in good relations with Polonia all around the world. MSZ  is working on expanding their offices in North America which may be a first step to strengthening the cooperation and business relations between Poland, Canada and USA. 

 

Poland would like to see an active involvement of Polonia in country's politics. Mr. Waszczykowski answered many questions from the audience. Unfortunately his time was limited so the meeting ended as scheduled.
