June - walking in Manitoba - finally halfway through Canada
Jakub walks through Manitoba and spens some in Winnipeg where Canadian Polish Congress Manitoba Branch warmly welcomes our young traveler.
April 4 - April 15, 2015
Jakub walked to Calgary, where he celebrated Easter with many great and friendly people and met with representatives of Canadian Polish Organizations including Canadian Polish Congress. On April 16th Jakub left Calgary and is on the way to Saskatchewan.

Welcome to Alberta. Jakub finally leaves BC and starts walking in Alberta. Hard mountains all the way, but he did it.

Kelowna, Armstrong, Vernon to Revelstoke was a huge effort but nothing like the next 150km through Rogers Pass from Revelstoke, to Golden.
Congratulations to Jakub. On March 20 he arrived in Golden and shortly will leave BC and enter the province of Alberta.
Feb 22-27, 2015
From Princeton to Peachland. It was not easy. Walking on the utility roads Jakub was able to make to Peachland in less then 2 days. He is staying in Kelowna where he is going to visit Polish School as a guest speaker. He is also a guest of local Polonia - the Polish Cultural Society of Kelowna. Way to go Jakub, you have made really far. Congratulations. Enjoy your stay in Kelowna.

After 2 days in and 70 Km from Maning Park to Princeton, Jakub arrived to the destingation. Two days of walking with heavy backpack in the mountains is hard but doable as we can see. He did 42 km again yesterday and now safely restores his energy before the next phase.

After 2 days in Sunshine Valley Jakub is on its way to Princeton via Maning Park. He is walking along No#3 road camping on the way expected arrival to Princeton Feb 20th or 21st.
Feb 10-12, 2015
After 2 days from Chilliwack Jakub arrived to Hope on Feb 10. On Thursday Feb 12 he is on the way to Sunshine Valley.

Started on Armstrong in Chillwack, quite dry at first. Next camping beside the gas station past Agassiz. This is the first dat of the 2 day road to Hope.

Started in Chillwack, it was shorter but sunny Day. Today ended on the way from Chilliwack to Hope at 6pm to rest and prepare for a 2 day road to Hope tomorrow. Additional 15 km done.

Started in Abbotsford the 42 km road to Chilliwack. Walking in the heavy rain most of the time today. Completed as planned at 9pm.

May 3 - May 15 Saskatchewan.
Jakub walks through preries of SK. Flat and no trees is the main complain. A few cold days especially that he switched to the summer equipment. He is almost in Manitoba, congratulations Jakub. Doing 50 or more KM a day is a huge achievement. On your own with nature, Jakub this is unbelievable achievement.
