History of Polish Canadian Women Federation
Kopernik Lodge started with Mrs Anna Freyman and Mrs. Henryka Filipowicz, who realized the need for a home for 'Polish' Veterans and refugees in Canada. Till this day Mrs Janina Freyman as a leader of Polish Canadian Women's Federation continues the help and support Kopernik Lodge with countless hours of volnuteer work and donated funds. What an amazing tradition.
On this picture Mrs. Henryka Filipowicz, first Chairman of the Board, and Mrs. Maria Szandorowska - first Administrator.
