Polish Festival in North Vancouver Sept 9th, 2018

The Polish Festival is an annual event hosted by the North Shore Polish Association Belweder.

This year the Polish Festival happened on Sunday, September 9th, at the Shipyards in Shipbuilders’ Square and the Pipe Shop at 115 Victory Ship Way in North Vancouver.

This vibrant and colorful event featured delicious traditional food, music, singing, folk dancing, arts, games, and more.

It’s a family-friendly event with theatre plays for children as well as crafts, face painting, balloon animals and games. Also, at the event were market vendors selling jewelry and other artisan products. Traditional Polish foods for sale include sausages, perogies and pastries.

The live music for the event was in the evening, from 7:30 until 9:00 pm.

Performers at the festival included: Polonez Polish Canadian Dance Society, Roma Gry Dance Group,

Toque Flamenco (a Latin dance group), Parno Drom Romani Music Group and Polish Canadian Soloists

The Polish Festival Vancouver offered something for everyone.
